Guest Application Form - for 2026-27 Consideration
Adoptees On features adoptees who are therapists, adoptees who have authored books or written blogs, adoptee artists and creatives, adoptees with thousands of followers, and adoptees who prefer anonymity or have no social media presence. Adoptee applicants without a large online presence will still be equally considered.
In order to be featured on the podcast, you must have high-functioning internet without interruption. You must have a microphone (or access to one). All applications must be submitted with an audio recording; in the event an audio recording is not included, the application will be disregarded. The audio recording must be under 3 minutes and is to include a brief summary of your story and the most important message you intend to communicate to adult adoptees. You can use your voice note feature on your phone if you’re not sure how to record on your computer.
It is not possible for Adoptees On to respond to every application. Wouldn’t it be amazing if we had the resources to share every adoptee's story? Hopefully one day we will, but currently, it’s just a mini-team over here. We regularly review applications, research, record, edit, and share between 30-40 episodes a year, and with thousands of listeners and hundreds of guest requests, it’s not feasible to share every story. Each submission will be read and reviewed, but due to the high volume of requests, we do not contact each applicant.
